Congratulations to our Westwood Academy students on their exceptional A-Level results

Congratulations to all our students at The Westwood Academy on their outstanding A-Level results. The results are the best that the school has seen in years. A significant improvement over 2023 was noted in the percentage of exam passes at A*-C from 62.3% to 80.8%. Of the individual successes, the achievement of Violet Saunders was commendable. She achieved three straight As and secured a place at The University of Nottingham to study medicine. Almost all students progressed to universities, apprenticeships and other pathways and we wish them well.

Sarah Hatch, the new incoming Head at The Westwood Academy, congratulated students on their results and said “It is impressive to see everyone’s hard work and achievements recognised in these results. I look forward to working with the Westwood community to build on the foundation of success for future students of A-Level”.

The CEO Hayden Abbott congratulated students and said “I am incredibly proud to congratulate all of our A-Level students on what they have achieved. They have worked incredibly hard over the last two years and deserve this success. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff who have supported our students in many ways to achieve their success. To those who are moving on to university, apprenticeships or other ventures I wish you well in this next stage of your education or career”.
