The Westwood Academy’s Student Council exemplifies the school's commitment to fostering leadership among students. Through various initiatives, both KS4 and KS5 student leaders have undertaken impactful projects, including charity fundraising, organizing events like career fairs and bake sales, and promoting mental health and wellbeing programs.

Leadership opportunities are expanding across all key stages, with new roles such as Sports Leaders, Eco Leaders, and Library Leaders aimed at engaging more students and promoting skills like teamwork, creativity, and responsibility.

The Student Council empowers students to develop their leadership potential, embodying The Westwood Way—ambition, resilience, kindness, reflection, and respect.
