Coventry Cup Final 2024 - Westwood 6 - Stoke Park 3

The Year 10 football team have won the prestigious Coventry Cup for the last two years and went into May's final full of confidence. As is often the way in sport, after 40mins we were 1-0 down and not in control of the game at all.  Half time gave us chance to refocus on our game plan and we came out with a real desire to show our ability as a team with some quicker passing. 

This immediately bore fruit with a quick goal from Jacob to calm the nerves. This gave us the platform to push on and the goals started flowing. In an action packed 40 minutes, we scored 7 goals (1 was ruled offside) and conceded 2.  The final score was 6-3 to Westwood with scorers: Harry (2) Corelli (2) and Jake and Jacob (1).  Well done to the team on another successful season.
